Hi. The last time a tried creating an "About Me" web presence was 15 years ago. I created my own "Home Page". That was a big deal back then. All I came up with was a picture of a sailboat and about 6 links to things of interest. The technically static page never changed. For all I know it is still out there somewhere.

I have avoided Face Book, MySpace, and the other social networking sites. You can find me on Linkedin. I cannot say I have actively grown the Linkedin web. But I have accepted every invite I have received. I do what I can!

All this rambling so far has been simply an expression of awkwardness. Internet-based social networking seems a bit strange to me. The term "Followers" gives me the creeps! 

So I am going to give this a shot. I colleague of mine told me that a blog will help create a better personal brand. I did not know I had a brand, let alone a deficient one! I hope you will find my ramblings on this blog-thing interesting, informative, and most of all thought provoking. Oh and don't forget to become one of my followers.
